I was thrilled to escape my everyday routine and stay in St Lucia! St Lucia is one of my favorite Caribbean islands! I stayed at Sandals Grande St Lucia for 7 nights.
Overview
Located on its very own peninsula the Sandals Grande St Lucia is paradise! Every room offers short walk to the beach or to the pool with plenty of chairs to relax. The ocean waves are calm and lots of palm trees for shade.
The resort has three pools, swim-up bar has music and entertainment, and the other two pools are quieter. This resort is paradise as it was meant to be, full of natural beauty, rich in history and something for everyone.
Activities
This island is like the all-inclusive Hawaii with so much adventure or enjoy relaxing by the beach.

Dining
This resort has so much to choose from for dining, which I was lucky to try all at this resort for this vacation. The resort is all inclusive, so all your food, drinks and alcohol are included!
My favorite restaurants Kimonos, Soy, Bombay, Gordon’s Pier and Barefoot By the Sea. Gordon’s Pier for dinner the restaurant is over water where you can view the fish in the evenings. The Barefoot By the Sea I love the food but I really enjoy being to put my toes in the sand, watching the ocean waves and relax with my best friend eating dinner. Lunch, I highly recommend Jerk Shack Festival with Roasted Fish in the Foil (ask for Hellfire hot sauce-if you like spicy) Be sure to enjoy desserts (crepe) or coffee/tea throughout the day at Josephine’s Creperie. Always let any of the staff know about dietary restrictions or allergies.
Be sure to travel over to Sandals Halcyon and Sandals La Toc where you can enjoy different menu options for dining and it is all included!
This Resort Is Best For?
Sandals Grande St Lucia is best for honeymoons, babymoons, destination weddings, vow renewals, vacation getaways for 2! This resort is only all adults and couples as Sandals Resorts only offer king bed suites.
How To Get Here?
Flying to St Lucia typically you have 2 airline options American Airlines and Delta Airlines.
This resort is a 90-minute drive from the airport to the resort, we recommend upgrading to helicopter transfers where you are at the resort in 15 minutes vs. 90 minutes. {read my blog on Helicopter HERE}
Sandals Resorts provide complimentary transfers round-trip from the resort from the airport, the complimentary transfers are shared with other guests going to the same resort as you. Note if you get motion sickness the drive from the St Lucia airport to the Sandals Grande Resort are very windy so you may want to take something for this or upgrade to private car transfers. With the private car transfers you can request for the driver to stop and get some fresh air.
